Hannah J Betts joined us on our First Aid for Pets course so she would know how to save her blue whippet Pimlico’s life, and she had a whale of a time! She hugely enjoyed the course and wrote a double page spread in the Sunday Times all about it. She learned about the importance of first aid in pets, how to save your pet if they are choking, the dog recovery position and how to give CPR. She covered bleeding, burns, bandaging and making an improvised muzzle. She loved the hands-on nature of the course with the CPR mannequins, and using the variety of dog models to demonstrate on.
