  • First of all, you need to carefully Clean the wound with warm soapy water
  • Use a pair of clean tweezers, grip the splinter close to the skin and gently pull the splinter out. Please note: you need yo pull it out at the same angle as it appears to have entered.
  • Gently squeeze around the wound to encourage a little bleeding. After that, ensure that there is nothing else remaining in the wound. Clean the wound once more and then cover with a breathable sterile dressing
